This device forever revolutionized the way we consume media and information. I remember not having to worry about buying CDs anymore or having to worry about where to store my gigantic stereo system. Now everything was so much more portable and easy. The portable music CD or cassette players were virtually wiped out with these tinier devices that could hold mountains more music. Suddenly we had more space available to store our music; less equipment required to effectively hear our music and more freedom to consume our music within the space and time dictated by us!
